The Elite Events New York continues the momentum in 2nd Year
The Elite Events – New York – ‘New York’s Jet-set Lifestyle event’ took place this year over new revised dates of Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th September 2018.
Organizers were delighted to welcome an increase in opening day attendance with around 825 invited visitors and about 30 visiting aircraft recorded over the first day.
Sponsors Cirrus Aircraft were extremely encouraged with attendance and led on an opening day, having recorded 18 solid leads on the first day alone.
After the first day drew to a close on Saturday, The Customer & Special Guest Appreciation event, kindly sponsored by Cirrus Aircraft, Chelsea Football Club and Airbound Aviation took place. Exhibitors and guests were given access to Food, Drinks and DJ entertainment. The evening served as a great way to unwind after the first day, as well as useful networking event amongst each other. The party continued well on into the night.
The expectations were similar numbers on day 2, but the weather did not help proceedings with an all day wash out with rain, which significantly reduced anticipated numbers and experiences on offer.
Visitors were treated to a Glass of Champagne on entry and had access to around 60 exhibits and approximately 15 + onsite event experiences (experiences subject to weather). Presentations ranged from Private Aviation to Supercars, Luxury Brands & Services, and Marine products.
Events Experiences ranged from;
Supercar Test Drives
Helicopter Pleasure Flights
Fixed Wing Pleasure Flights
Whiskey & Vodka Tasting
Saturday Evening Drinks & Food Reception
Bicycle Test Rides
Beauty & Wellness Treatments
Private FBO Tour
Overall the show had just short of 1,000 attendees over the two days along with 32 visiting aircraft. “A positive step in the right direction” commented Show Director Alex Ayling.
“We were very pleased with the first-day turnout, having decided to move our opening day from a Friday to a Saturday, following feedback from last year. It showed it was the right decision. Ultimately, we can’t analyze or take anything from the Sunday turnout this year, as it rained through all day. However, the momentum generated from the first day along with the quality of visitor was extremely encouraging. The show is gaining traction, and with a lot of continued hard work from our team, we will continue our aim of establishing this as The No.1 Combined Lifestyle Event for New York / New Jersey region.” Alex Ayling
The Elite Events – New York is set to confirm its date for the 3rd installment in 2019. The anticipated date for next year’s event: 14th – 15th September 2019 at Essex County Airport, NJ (TBC)
